You Were Expecting Statehood?

I thought that Ferguson made some very interesting points in this article, and I thought that his comparison of 1940's Poland to modern-day Palestine was very clever. As the famous quote goes, history always repeats itself. What are your opinions on the postwar action taken by the League of Nations regarding Poland and other disputed areas? Did Roosevelt's vision of a "world parliament" have any validity, or was it simply a hopeless dream? Should the decisions of the League of Nations have been left to Stalin, Churchill, and Roosevelt, or should these leaders have let other countries have a say? Lastly, what are your thoughts on the future of Palestine. Do they deserve statehood or would they abuse their power?

Obama Arms Israel

Do you guys agree with the author? Obama? I think that Obama tries to play as many sides as possible. He sometimes supports one side, and other times the other sides. I think that he has done a bad job of handling situations related to Israel. I think that, while they are our ally, the United States' "thing" is freedom. I find our foreign policy not good.
